About the Event

Join the Women's Diversity Network, Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, and the YWCA of White Plains & Central Westchester for a film on puberty, menstruation, and health discovery. The conversations we’ve always needed.

The journey often starts with the first period, but the way in which we come to know ourselves and our bodies begins with every conversation we’ve had, or haven’t had, before then.

Through the eyes of everyday families and celebrity mothers like Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tabitha Brown, Me Period explores the beauty and complexity of how we navigate sensitive conversations about our bodies and our periods.

*As part of our commitment to community care, we're collecting menstrual products for local families. A suggested donation of pads or tampons is encouraged for attendees.
